Amyntas
c.  95-90 BCE

Chronology of the Indo-Bactrian rulers is based largely on numismatic evidence. Bactrian coins were imitations of Greek issues, but they gradually acquired a style of their own. Legend of Indo-Bactrian coins were inscribed in Greek, Brahmi, and Kharosti scripts.

Obverse: Bust of Zeus-Mithras wearing Phrygian cap rightand legend in greek.
Reverse: Standing Athena holding shield, spear and legend in Kharosti script.
Weight: ~ 8.4  grams.
