Atuatuci

Atuatuci tribe is from Belgic Gaul region of the ancient Europe. They lived in between banks of Sambre and the Meuse rives in the current provinces of Liege and Namur of Belgium. They were of Germanic origin and might be the descendants of a detachment of Cimbres and Teutons invasion during the invasions of 115-101 BCE.
 
 

Atuatuci silver Stater.
Obverse: Four busts of horses placed in cross around a central ring.
Reverse: Stylised horse.
Size: 11 mm. Weight: 3.5 grams.
